Amarillo, TX: PRPC Project Kickoff

Event Description: 

The Panhandle Regional Planning Commission (PRPC) Project Kickoff was held on November 14, 2012 in Amarillo, TX.


The purpose of the kickoff meeting was to review the project timeline and scope, as well as the preliminary feedlot analysis conducted by Cubic's Virtual Analysis Center.


  • Discuss Target Facility selection.
  • Present Risk Assessment Guide examples and formats for Steering Committee consideration.


The PRPC Steering Committee and members of Cubic's Biosecurity and Business Continuity teams attended the kickoff. The meeting included discussion of the project team structure, tasks, timeline, and phases as well as various administrative talking points. The main goals for the project are the development a Facility Biosecurity Guide (BG) and Business Continuity and Recovery Guide (BCRG).
