The Interagency Biological Restoration Demonstration (IBRD) Seattle Urban Area Regional Recovery from a Biological Attack Framework Tabletop Exercise (TTX) was held on July 15, 2010 in Seattle, WA.
This event aimed to discuss pre-identified areas and issues of concern for managing the recovery phase of a bio-incident.

- Validate the key elements of the framework.
- Solicit thoughts and input on changes to the framework that should be considered in long-term recovery.
The Departments of Defense (DOD) and Homeland Security (DHS) sponsored this event that was conducted as part of the four year IBRD program that sought to provide biological event recovery and remediation methods and approaches from multiple levels. The interactive exercise included a brief overview of the contents of the Draft Regional Recovery Framework, an introduction of the mock scenario, breakout group discussions and brainstorming sessions, and an outbrief. The core exercise team included representatives from Seattle-King County and Tacoma-Pierce County Emergency Management, City of Seattle, City of Bellevue, King County, Pierce County, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), and Cubic.
